Tenant Move-In

We guide tenants through every step of the move-in process to ensure they meet all necessary requirements. Before they receive keys, they must:

  • Pay the security deposit.

  • Pay the first month’s rent.

  • Pay any additional fees or deposits, such as pet deposits.

  • Activate all utilities in their name and provide us with documentation.

  • Obtain tenant liability insurance and name us as an additional interest, or opt into our tenant liability insurance program.

We also provide tenants with helpful information, such as the trash pickup schedule, a detailed move-in property condition report, HOA or community guidelines if applicable, and a clear understanding of their responsibilities as outlined in the lease.

Prior to move-in, we conduct a thorough inspection of the property, including detailed photos of the interior and exterior. This report will serve as a reference for future inspections during the tenancy and after move-out, and it will be shared with you for your records.

On move-in day, assuming all required tasks are completed, tenants will receive an access code to retrieve keys and other access devices from a lockbox at the property. Within a few days, our team will visit to remove the lockbox.
